Chapter 6 - Final Year Project - Damage Percentage Effect - 15/11/22

Hey everybody and welcome back to my blog. In this blog, I will be talking about the damage percentage effect for the project so let's get straight into it. In case anyone doesn't know what the damage percentage is, it basically shows you how much damage the players or the ais has taken after being hit physically. The higher the damage percentage is, the more the players or the ais are at risk to be knocked out off the stage and will lose a life. The good thing is that when the players or the ais don't lose a life, the damage percentage will reduce back down to 0.


Let's talk about what happens if the players or the ai's damage percentage is less than 50.

If the players or the ais has a damage percentage less than 50, the particle effects will be turned into green showing the players or the ais are not at risk at the moment and when getting either the players or the ais are getting hit, it will create a small knockback.

If the players or the ais has a damage percentage between 50 and less than 100, the particle effects will be turned into amber showing the players or the ais should be beware before the damage percentage gets any further and when getting either the players or the ais are getting hit, it will create a stronger knockback.

And finally, If the players or the ais has a damage percentage is 100 or above, the particle effects will be turned into orange showing the players or the ais are definitely at high risk and to be very careful not to get hit here otherwise they will lose a life as when getting either the players or the ais are getting hit, it will create a very very strong knockback.

Indeed, I've now revealed this mysterious third character (one more character to go) and this character is named Robin. She is an archer that will be focused more on projectiles obviously the projectiles will be arrows or maybe arrows-liked at the very least. I hope everyone welcomes her with open arms.
