Hello everybody and welcome back to my blog. Today I'll be talking about a special mechanic that will play an important role during the match.
This special mechanic is called Magical Projectiles. Magical Projectiles are like elemental powers that are inspired by many RPG games such as Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Persona, Shin Megami Tensei and so on. In fact in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, one of the characters called Hero from Dragon Quest had this type of mechanic during the match however it's pretty more complex.

So how does the mechanic Magical Projectiles works then?
Every character in the game will have this special mechanic and each of them will summon different types of Magical Projectiles. At the start of the match, both players (or one of them being an AI) will have a maximum level of 100.

If the mechanic. In order to use the mechanic, the player must press the circle button on the PlayStation controller in order to activate it. Once the mechanic has been activated, the Magic Power level will be reduced by 20.

However, once the level has reached 0, the players can no longer use the mechanic and is unable to activate the mechanic.

But it can be regained by losing a live (also known as stock)... well at this moment in time, I'm planning to when the level is under 100, it will slowly increase over time and won't stop until it reaches to 100.

From the one of the screenshots from the project that was shown, most of you guys may notice that the Projectiles is not so magical at the moment however, I'm planning to use VFX effect by using the VFX graph that is provided by the engine I'm using but if that doesn't work out, I'll just use Particle effect again. Also, the reach why the mechanic does have limited use is to avoid spamming projectiles as it'll ruin the fun for the new players.
And that's the blog today, I hope everybody enjoys this blog and there's still more to talk about for the project including the final reveal character. Stay tuned for more blogs.
