Hello and this is my first blog for the narrative design project that I’m currently working on but with a team of 4. Our narrative game is called Demonic Vengeance. It sets in modern times where everything is peaceful and calm. Very little chaos and trouble occur in this world as in the past there was the ultimate war that drove the whole world into conflict in a fight between good and evil. In the end, the evil was vanquished and peace and harmony were allowed to flourish throughout the world. Until a demonic invasion arrives on earth and seeks vengeance against humanity for the ultimate war. The protagonist and antagonist played vital parts in the ultimate war, leading to our game's narrative.
In terms of the project actually being made, only the beginning part of the narrative will be made where it will be based on the protagonist's home named Theodore and the project will be done by using a game engine called Unity as unity has a timeline feature which would be very helpful when doing cutscenes.
And lastly here's our prototype for the project which was taken on 25th February 2023.

One person from the team is the main programmer of the project. has done a great job with the main character's control including using the root animation feature for smoother animation controls I did my part of making sure the enemies are following the player and including AI navigation but the same person makes sure the enemies stop at a certain before they can shoot at the player.
