Hello and welcome back to the mobile game project blog. There are a couple of updates that I need to share here. First of all, here's what the game currently looks like below.

Unity's UI Tool has been used to make the prototype's text look nice at least by giving them a black outline. Although the game's UI is not finalised, I have been working on them more on the UIs by using Photoshop to see what the game could potentially look like and how it could appeal to the players when playing the game itself.

This is made to be the top banner UI for the gameplay. The banner itself, rather than giving it brown like the background, I have made it gold to avoid camouflage also the colour gold matches very well with one of the main and probably one of my favourite ores designs thanks to our artist for the game that have been made in the game. The circular square and rectangle boxes are made to place for the number of scores, the number of turns left, what currently level the player is at, and the requirement that needs to be done in order to complete the level. Each box has the colour grey and has extra texture to them making each box to looks like rocks which will fit the game aspect and the theme pretty well.

I have made another banner for the bottom one as well. This is made to be for the power-ups and all the rock-looking boxes are spread out so the players can easily press on the boxes which would act like buttons act it's required to activate the power-ups in the game.

And finally, one last update...

As a team, we have decided to call our project Min3r. The 3 is supposed to be an E but backwards. The logo itself, it's supposed to appeal to the players the most due to the rocky theme with the colour, sharp edges and cracks around the letters and will be on the title screen and on the app icon on the phone. I created this by using Photoshop and used the tools which make the logo look to attract and to make it fit more with the theme of the game that we are making such as textures, gradient, blender, and more and use the font Cave Stone which the link is left below.

That's all for the now. Hope everybody enjoys this blog and that more updates are on the way in another 2 weeks. Stay tune.
