Hello everybody and welcome back to this series blog. Ever since the last blog, there's has been a lot of updates since the last blog for this project including the overhaul and the design of the project. So today I'm going to talk about what has been updated in terms of my role as a UI/UX Designer.

So here are some screenshots from the project that has been updated:

First of all, the background for the main menu screen and the level select screen has been removed as recently, there was a playtest and some from the feedback were saying that it was too generic and boring so we got our good artist to make the great backgrounds for us and I think it's generally fits the theme really well.

Now back to what I actually did. I have made more buttons by using the same software called Photoshop. I have used the same textures and colours from the last blog as we truly think it fits the theme really well as obviously, they look like rocks.

The buttons that were added were the exit button for the main menu screen so players can leave the game when they are done, the next level button so that when the players have beaten the levels, they don't have to go straight back to the level selection screen but just play the next level, and the retry button so when the players been defeated by the level, they can always try again and hopefully they can beat the level this time.

Again from the feedback, someone suggested an endless level so the level has unlimited turns and no requirements in order to beat the level I have made the button for that in the level selection screen and replaced it over level 10. From the keyboard, there isn't an infinite symbol so I end up looking online for it as we think it fits really well as keeps the same theme going throughout the game.

That's all I got for now for this blog and hopefully, I can make another blog just before the 16th. Stay tuned for hopefully the final blog for this series.
