Hello and welcome back to my blog. In this blog, I will be showing the updates of my current work which are the UIs for this project.
Firstly, here's what the game looks like now.

You may have noticed that the top banner I have made from the last blog has now been added and honestly, it looks really great and with the colours of the banner, it fits well for the theme of the game itself. Also, I gave the background of the game textures by using Photoshop as it supposes the represent the ground specifically dirt where the player would find the ores from. And I have created a back button UI so the players can go back to the menu. For the design itself, many buttons are very similar to that which I will show now.

Each of the buttons is meant to represent rocks hence why the buttons' UIs are grey with some rocky textures and a slight gradient. However, there do have a difference in the font that I have used for the title. I made the font the colour white so the players can able to read it easily. Combining the buttons uis and the font makes the game feels more polished and stand out better in terms of the theme of the game.

By looking at the level selection screen, the buttons uis are organised this way in order to fit in the mobile layout which is 9:16 and the shape and size of the buttons itself being a slightly big square so the players can able easily click on the buttons.
And finally the mobile icon for the project:

As a team, we all agreed that the diamond was the best ore design thanks to the artist for the project due to the fitting colour and the slight texture that he created himself. so I used Photoshop to create our mobile icon with a rock-like background.
