Hello everyone and this is my very last blog for this great series of the mobile game project. It has been a great short journey, hasn't it? Anyways for this blog, I want to talk about the sound effect and music background as I wasn't just doing UI/UX for the project, I was doing other duties in order to make sure that the project was as great as possible.
Here are the sound effect and the music background I have created. To listen to them, click on the links.
Sound Effect:
I created this sound effect for when the ores are matched together. I've used the software called sfxr and it helps to generate the sounds that I want and was able to make a few edits to make the sound effect as fitting as possible such as the time delay so how long the sound want to play for and the frequency to change the tone of the sound effect. There were other sound effects that were played in the game such as the winning conditions but I didn't create those. It was from a website.
Music Background:
I created this music background for the whole project including the levels. I've used the site called BeepBox and it helps to produce this music from stretch and has other features to make this music as fitting for the game as possible such as the type of instrument for this case, I've used the steel pan which fit the theme of the game the best. I have tried other instruments such as the violin but my team agreed that it doesn't go well with the game itself and I believe them and think it would fit better with more of a medieval theme. Also, another feature called the tempo changes the speed of the music while being played and the note key which changes the tone of the music.
This is all I got for you guys. It was great to be on this short journey with you. I have really enjoyed keeping you guys up to date with this project.
